POST-EMERGENCE HERBICIDES FOR WEED CONTROL IN CORN

PROPERTIES

PLANTOMAIS 40 OD is a post-emergence corn herbicide containing nicosulfuron which belongs to the sulfonylurea family.
It acts mainly by foliar application. It immediately stops the development of weeds and thus prevents
their competition on the crop as quickly as possible.
This results in a gradual disappearance of said weeds.
Formulation:

Oily formulation – OD.

EMPLOYMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

PLANTOMAIS 40 OD can be used in post-emergence of corn between the 2 and 6 leaf stages of the crop.
PLANTOMAIS 40 OD is effective on most grasses and dicotyledons at a dose of 1 litre
per hectare and this between the 3 to 5 leaf stages of the corn.
In the presence of difficult flora (between the 4 and 6-8 leaf stages of the crop) a
catch-up treatment is recommended at a dose of 1 to 1.2 L/ha in addition to a root herbicide.
Like any herbicide based on nicosulfuron, PLANTOMAIS 40 OD must be applied to a crop
in healthy vegetative development.
Do not apply PLANTOMAIS 40 OD to a crop exposed to conditions unfavourable to its
development such as drought, poor establishment, compact soil or pest attack.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Keep out of reach of children, food and drink including those of animals.
Store in a dry and ventilated place.
Do not drink, eat or smoke while spraying.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Protect yourself well during treatments.
In case of accident or feeling unwell:
Consult a doctor immediately and show him the packaging or label.
Toxicological class: III
In case of ingestion: induce vomiting if the patient is conscious.
Administer activated charcoal and consult a doctor.
